NSW Masters Championships

Congrats to all those competing in the NSW State Masters. The results are here for those that are interested: http://www.rowingmanager.com/rm/?regatta=1690

Australian Masters Nationals

Good luck to the few that are braving the cold Victorian Winter in Ballarat. A group of 8 will head down and competing for Glebe and composite crews. Well done to Ken, Brad, John, and Phil, all of whom made the State Team 8+. Let’s hope they finally knock off the Victorians.

Wednesday night – Club Training 5.30-7pm

Something that we thought we would try over the winter months to improve and maintain fitness during those cold mornings and days is some afternoon training. The Club will be open with some circuits laid out for everyone to participate. Brad will be coaching and helping out and there will be a different focus every week. This coming week is on legs and stamina.

Probably a good time to work on Ergo times as well, so there will be some Ergo workouts posted for those that just want to sweat it out. It is an open door so no need to reply just show up on the night.

End of Season BBQ ?

We’d love to close off a season with some good friends in a family friendly event. Please send any ideas you may have to liven this event up to [email protected]. Details to follow as dates are worked out.

I have included the time table and dates if you want to be part of this series which is great fun and always good to warm those Winter Sundays up, please let Ken know so he can think about crews early.

Any one wanting to volunteer for our Regatta which is the first one also please let me know, we will  need: Tinnie drivers (with a license), some general helpers, etc

Regards,

Brad.
